The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the imprnvement which the Council recommends ia
to rscomstrt�t the aidenalk � the aorth side of St. Clair Aventie fro� Pleasaat

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the lSth day of
April, 1�71 , , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.

To the Comanissioner of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works9 having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File Noe �52F�4 approved
Feb. 23rd. I9 71 relative to reconstructins the sidewalk on the north
side of 5t. Clair Ave. from Pleasant Ave. to Avon St. and bv doin� all other work
which is necessary and incidental to comvlete said imvrovement.
and having investigated the matters and thing� referred to thereia, hereby reportse
1, The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per 1in. ft. for standard sidewalk
S ft, wide and $5.30 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk 6 ft. wide.
2, A plan, profile or sketeh of said improvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
