WHEREAS, The Contractor prosecuted the work diligently bc�t it was not
possible to complete the contract by said date of completion, therefore be it
RSSOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and theq are hereby suthorized
snd directed to execute an amendment to ssid oontract extending the tim� of
�� � coapletion to July 15, 1971, provided however, that this resolution sl�all have
n0 force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond eonsent thereto
�ol�l file such consent in writing with the City Comptrnller, and be it
FURTI�SR RESOLVED, That the Citq of Saint Paul herebq wa3ves ell claim for
liqnidated damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this prnject
will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
