under Preliminary Order 2g2421 approved Fetiraary 11, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
t� recenstr�ct the sidewalk on the west side of Ct�r�re Street fraa Clear Av�nne to
Sheraood Aoeaxe and by d0iag all other w0rk �ich is aecessax�r and incidestal to
cosplete :aid i�rproveaeat, except vhere good and sufficient ponred sidenalks acni
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ �+.40 per lia ft for 5' �ride walk
$ 5.30 per lia ft for `' viat walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 8t� day of
April, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta.ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
