In the matter of changing the grade of the alley in B1ock 7, Merriam Park Second Addi-
tion to the City of Saint Paul from Cleveland Avenue to Wilder Street to conform to
the grade as shown on the profile on file in the Department of Fublic Works.
Also, condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts –
and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or rema.in-
der thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading

from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
P�esolved; That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the

sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
