In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the north side of George Street
from Livingston Street to Gorman Street and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order �53R72 approve� Anri1 30, 1971 ,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Cammissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the nort�,..side of George Street from Livingston
Street to Gorn►an Street and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental
Co complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks now
exist,
, with no altematives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.4n�Pr �;n ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 2nd day of

House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persona and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
