In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk and replacing with integral curb
and sidewalk on both sides of Fairview Avenue from Ford Parkway to Pinehurst Avenue
and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidenial to complete said improve-
ment,
under Preliminary Order 253829 approve� Anril 29, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Conncil recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk and replace with integral curb and sidewalk on both
sides of Fairview Avenue from Ford Parkway to Pinehurst Avenue and by doing all
other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, except
where good and sufficient poured sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $��.1�(L�Ter >>n f t for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
$ 1.50 per sq ft for intercurb & wall�
Resolved Fur�her, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 2nd day of
.TLl�, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
