In the Matter of constructing and/or reconstructing the sidewalk c�n the west side
of Davern Avenue from Norfolk Avenue to Munster Avenue and by doing all other work which
is neces�ary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 253823 approved A�ril 2�, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to construct and/or reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of Davern Avenue
from Norfolk Avenue to Munster Avenue and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured
sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estirnated cost thereof is $ 4_40 np_r�i� ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for fi' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 2nd day of
.T„7�' 1 A71 , at the hour of 10 o'cicek A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

To the Comanissioner of Fiaance of the City of St. Paul:
The Com¢nissioner of Publir Worka, having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Coe�ncil File No. 253823 approved
April 29th. 1971 relative to constructing and/or reconstructing the
sidewalk on the west side of Davern Ave. from Norfolk Ave. to Munster Ave. and
by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said im-
provement.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per 1in, ft, for standard sidewalk
5 ft. wide and $5.30 per lin. ft. fvr standard sidewalk b ft. widee
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attaehed and
made a part thereof.
