In the Matter of reconstracting the sidewalk on the north side of Ashland Avenue
from Fairview Avenue to Dewey Street and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 253R�� approve� Anril 29, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to recon8truct the sidewalk on the north side of Ashland Avenue from Fairview Ave-
nue to Dewey Street and by ddng all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks now
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4_40 ger �;n f t for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the _��?'��_day of
JuneT1q71 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,ting the time and place of
hearing, the.:nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
