In the Matter of condemning and taking a permanent utility easement 15 feet in
width in portions of vacated Tell Street and Lot 21, Block 1, Rifle Park Addi-
tion, the centerline of said easement being described as follows: Commencing at
a point 12.5 feet North of the centerline of Fremont Street on the east line of
the vacated Tell Street; thence a straight line to a point on the north line of
East Third Street 16.7 feet west of the East line of Tell Street and there ter- �
minating.
Also, a temporary easement for construction purposes on a str�,p of land 10 feet
in width on each side of the above described easement, these easements being
necessary for the construction of the GRIFFITH-POINT DOUGLAS RELIEF SYSTEM (S-0984) ,
under Preliminary Order 253787 �,approve� AFril 27,� 1971 �
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa,id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2: That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take a permanent utility easement 15 feet in width in portions of
vacated Tell Street and Lot 21, Block 1, Rifle Park Addition, the centerline of said
easement being described as follows: Commencing at a point 12.5 feet North of the
centerline of Fremont Street on the east line of the vacated Tell Street; thence
a straight line to a point on the north line of East Third Street 16.7 feet west of
the East line of Tell Street and there terminating.
Also, a temporary easement for construction purposes on a strip of land 10 feet
in width on eac� side of the above described easement, these easements being
necessary for the construction of the GRIFFITH-POINT DOUGLAS RELIEF SYSTEM (5-0984)

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 29th day of
.Tune� 19 71 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
