In the matter of changing the grade of the alley in Block 1, Macalester Park, Block 1,

on file in the Departmeat of Public Works,
Also, condemning and taking an easeaent in the land necessary for the slopes, c�ts
and fills, including right of removal of lateral support fram sub,jeat land or re-
mainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the
grading and surfaciag with bituminous material the alley in Block 1, Macalester Park,
Block 1, Elmer and lrierrison's Rearrangement of part of Macalester Park and Ecke's
Addition from Grand Avenue to Cambridge Avenue (G-1983),
under Preliminary Order 252739 , approved February 26, 1971 ,
Intermediary Order 253461 —, approved Anril 7, 1971 ,
Final Order , 25�RR� , approved Ma,��?Q71 ,
The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Fesolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
fixmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
seasment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
twent_y-nint}� day Qf�Lune. 1971` _— , at ten o'clock A.M, and that the Commis-
sioner of Fin�,nce be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
