In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the East 43 feet of the following:
South 1/2 of part between Cottage Avenue and Clear Avenue and East of Block 2, Hillcrest
Terrace of West 650.1 feet more or less of Northwest 1/4 of Southeast 1/4 of Section
23, Township 29, Range 22, also known as 2079 Clear Avenue, and by doing all other
work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 25�6�7 approved Anr;1 20, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruc�. the sidewalk on the East 43 feet of the following: South 1/2 of
part between Cottage Avenue and Clear Avenue and East of Block 2, Hillcrast Terrace
of West 650.1 feet more or less of Northwest 1/4 of Southeast 1!4 of Section 23,
Township 29, Range 22, also knawn as 2079 Clear Avenue, and by doing all other work
which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good
and sufficient poure� sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 24th day of
June, 1.971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court �
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
