In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the south side of Prescott Street
from Harvard Street to Mount Hope Street and by doing all other work which is necessarq
and incidental to co�mplete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order- 253683 approved April 20, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finanee
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the south side of Prescott Street from Harvaad Street
to Mount Hope Street and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks naw
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4_40 �er lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 23rd , day of ��-,
Jit+?P; �97� , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
