In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the north side of Prescott Street
from part of vacated Harvard Street to the west approximately 220 feet including Lots
1 through 4, Block 2, Woodbury and Case's Addition and by doing all ott�er work which
is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 253681 approved April 20, 1971 ,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommenda is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the north side of Prescott Street fram part of
vacated Harvard Street to the west approximately 220 feet including Lots 1 through
4, Block 2, Woodbury and Case's Addition and bq doing all other work which is ne-
�:cessary and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient
poured sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ffi for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 23td day of •
June, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
