In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the north side of East Sixth Street
from Johnson Parkway to Clarence Street and by doing all other work which is n�cessary
and incidental to complete said impronement,
under Preliminary Order 2�3640 approved Agril 16, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa,id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered,to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the north side of Eagt Sixth Street from Johnson
Parkway to Clarence Street and by doing all other work which is necessary and inci-
dental to complete said improvement, except where good and suffid ent poured side-
walks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4�40 ner lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6� wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 23rd day of
.7une� 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'elock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of ths improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
