Gentlemen and Madam:
On �pril 16, 1971, the 803 Development Co. ( A Corp.)
having received informal approval to their applications for
the transfer of the On Sale Liquor Licenses held by the St. Paul
Hotel Co. d�b�a Hotel St. Pau1,363 St. Peter St., and d�b�a
Lowry Hotel, 339 Wabasha Street, m�zde formal applications for
the transfer of these licenses to t�iem at these a�,dresses as
well as for the necessary miscellaneous licenses to opera.te
these two establishments.
Their plans were to operate these two establishments
under one corporation name but due to complications, application
is made for the amendment to the name of the licensee for the
Lowry Hotel, 339 Wabasha Street, from the 803 T)evelopment Co.
(A Corp.�} to 339 Wabasha Street Co. (A Corp.� w-ith the same
ownership, officers, directors and stockholders �,s in the 803
Development Co.

their attorney, Joseph J. Dudley,

Dear Sir:
A corporation known as 339 Wabasha �treet Co, has been organized as of Apr�.l
30, 1971 for the purpose of handling and operating the Lowry Hotel enterprise.
Y�ou will recall that the business is now in 803 Developrr�ent Co. but in order to
keep the St. Paul Hotel separated frorr� the Lowry Hotel and for general business
purposes the shareholder of 803 Developrrlent Co, desires the L�owry Hotel to be
operated by 339 Wabasha Street Co.
339 Wabasha Street Co. is a Minnesota corporation organized on April 30, 1971. �
Robert E. Short is its sole stockholder, its sole directo-r, and its sole officer.
He holds the office of President and Treasurer of sa.id corporation.
803 Developrr�ent Co. also has as its sole officer, director and shaseholder Robert
E. Short, tivho holds the office of President and Treasurer in that corporation.
We respectfully request the City Council to transfer all of those licenses designated
for the Lawry Hotel operation now held by 803 Developrr�ent Co. to 339 Wabasha
Street Co. Those licenses are as follows: on-sale liquor license, cigaxette license,
hotel and tavern license and Sunday on-sale liquor license and any other licenses
issued to 803 Developrr�ent Co, for the operation of the Lawry Hotel.
No business has been conducted by 803 Developrr�ent Co. under any of these licenses
to date. -
