WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 203.3 of the City Charter, the Comptroller did
report to the Council that additional revenues are estimated to be received in
1971 in excess of estimates of revenue adopted with the 1971 Budget, as amended,
in the estimated additional amount of $17,850.00, said funds to be received from
the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for Purchasing Department services; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that an additional appropriation is needed to
provide the intended Purchasing Department services, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that appropriations in the 1971 Budget are hereby increased
as follows:
Charter Fund 15, Purchasing Agent
0650 Purchasing Agent
100 Personal Services $17.850.00
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the item in the 1971 Schedule of Other General
Fund Receipts - Schedule "C" for General Government Offices , Purchasing, Sales
and Services be increased in the amount of $17,850.00, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the 1971 Revenue Summary, Miscellaneous Revenue,
Other General Fund Receipts, Not Dedicated - Schedule C be increased in the .
amount of $17,850.00, and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that this resolution shall not be adopted by the Council
until after a public hearing has been held, for which five (5) days public
notice shall be given once in the official newspaper of the City, and Zhe
approval of the City Comptroller is endorsed on this resolution.
