In the Matter of ' reconstructi�g the sicie�alk on both sides. of Mendota Street
from Margaret SCreet to Sixth Street and bp doing all other work which-:.is necessary

under Preliminary Order 253509 approved April 9, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and havin� considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopteci, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Mendota Street fram Margaret Street
to Sixth Street and by doing all other work which is necessarq and incidental to
complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalkadiow
exist,

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 17th day of
June_ 1971 , at the hotir of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
HousQ and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner qf Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta�ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimat�d.
