WHBRSAS, Comptroller's Coatract I,-7278 Project No. 70-M-OSO1,
Michaels Coacrete Co., Coatractors for the 1970 Annual Sidewalk Contract,
District No. 2, has been substantially completed, and
W1�RBAS, Said Contractor requests that a portion of the 5X retained
under the contract from estimates for work done, be paid in advanc� of
the final completion of the ccntract, and
WHSREAS, The Comsnissioaer and Chief $ngin�er of the Department of
Public Works, approve the paqment at this time of $6,500.00 of the
$8,978.93 retaiaed; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be aad they are hereby
authorized to pay an estimate in the amount of $6,500.00 from the retained
percentage of $8,978.93 to said contractor; and be it
FURTI�R RSSOLVBD� That this resolution shall have ao force or effect
unless the sureties on the Coatractor's Bond consent thereto in writing
and file such conseat with the City Comptroller.
