WFiEREAS, a task forc� of citizens of the city of Saint Pat�l
appointed by the Mayor has, after considerable study
and a number of ineetings, conciuded that there is a
definite need for a Jt�nior College to be lo�ated in
�aint Paul; and
Ti�ER�AS, tlie City Ccuncil of the city of Saint Paul reccgnizes
the critical need for a Junior College in Saint Paul;

RESOLVED, that the City Council of the city of Sair�t Pa�l ha�
hereby urged the legislat�re of the State of I�innea�ta
to autl�orize the ereation of a Junior College in the
cit�r of Saint Paul; and, be it
FURT�iER RESOLVED, by tke City Couneil of the city of Saint Pa�l
that it h�reb�r d�clar�s its intent to acquire a site
�uitable for Junior Ccllege purpose� srid aQeeptable to
the Mimae�ot a Junior Co31e�e Board and the city of
