been substantially completed, and
WHEREAS, Said Contractor requests that a portion of the 15% retsined under
the contract from estimates for work done be paid in advance of the final com-
pletion of the contract, and
WHBRLAS� The Commissioner and Chief �ngineer of the Department of F�ublic
orks approve the payment at this ti�e of $16,000.00 of the $20,231.25 retained;

RT�SOLVBD, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby authoriaed
to pay an estimate in the amount of $16,000.00 from the retained percentage of
$20,231.25 to said Contractor; and be it
FURTHBR RBSOLVBD, That this resolution ahall have no force or effect unless
the sureties on the Cwntractor's bond consent thereto in writing and file such
consent with the City Comptroller.
