Tedesco A Sainst Mr. President, McCarty ,JAN 2 3 t971 ptJgLISH�D --- � � � ,,� • ' EXHIBIT A. 2�� 1�10DIFICATION AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this day of , 1971, by and between the PORT AU` R Y OF THE CITY F A PA L, a publi� corporation organized and existing under the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 458, hereinafter- called "Landlord", and GITY OF SAINT PAUL, a municipal corporation of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter called "Tenant"; WITNESSETH: WHEREAS , Landlord entered into a Lease with Tena.nt dated the 25th day of September, 1970, pertaining to the development, the use and occupancy of a certain tract of land owned by the Port Authority in the Southport Industrial District; and WHEREAS , Said Landlord and Tenant deem it necessary to amend said Agreement to provide for a change in the land rental commence- ment dates as more fully set forth below; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTt1ALLY AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS : 1. The Lease dated the 25th day of September, 1970, is amended as follows : Paragraph I of said Lease is amended by striking from said paragraph the following: "TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME for a term, hereinafter called "Original Term", commencing on the lst day of December, 1970, and ending on the lst day of December, 1980 %: %: %: " � and substituting in lieu thereof the following: "TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAM� fo-r a term, hereinafter called "Original Term", commencing on the lst day of _ Njarch, 1971, and ending on the lst day of March, 1981." 2 .
