Re: Quit Glaim. deed from the State of M�nnesota for a portion of
St. Anthony Avenne
The Land Committee recom�ends that the City of St. Paul accept and ref'er to
the proper City Officers for recording the Quit Cla3m deed f�om the State of
Minnesota to the City of St.Paul on the following tract of land.
That part of St. Anthony Ave. as originally platted lying
westerly of the west line of Western Ave. and ea,sterly of
the east line of Arr�ndel St:
which lies northeasterly of the following described line:
Beginni.ng at the northwest corner of Lot 6, Blk. 15, Maekubin
and Maxshall's Addition to St. Pav1; thence ra.n northwesterly
to the southeast corner of Lot 18, Block l�, said Mackubin and
Marshall's Addition and there terminating;
The State is in the process of sell3.ng righ.t-of-way land to the Housing
Authority that abuts the above parcel. The acceptance of the deed wo�.l.d
elear the way for the City to vacate said portion of St. Anthony Ave. for
use by the Housin� Au�hority.
