WHEFtEAS, 2'he Council of t City of Saint Paul, by resoluti.on, C. F. No. 229573,
approved July 22, 1966, did authorize execution and filing of an application with the
Department of Housing axid Urban Develop�ent, United States Government, for a grant in aid
pertaining to construction of additions to the Saint Paul Water Treatment Plant and Pumping
Station, and said resolution named Bernaxd T. Holland, then President, Board of Water
Co�issioners, as the authorized representative and authorized and directed hi.m to furnish
information to said Department of Housing a.nd Urban Development; and,
WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, by resolution, C. F. No. 239077,
approved June 19, 1968, amended Council Resolution bTo. 229573 to name Robert F. Sprafka
the authorized representative as Mr. Sprafka became President of the Board of Water Com-
missioners on June �+, 1968; and,
WHEREAS, 2'he Council oF the City of Saint Paul, by resolution, C. F. No. 249331,
approved June 16, 1970, superseded Council Resolution 239077, and named Leonard W. Levine
authorized representative as Mr. Levine became President oP the Boaxd of Water Commissioners
on June 2, 1970; a,nd,
WHERrAS, Effective Dece�ber 7, 1970, Robert F. Sprafka becsme President of the
Board of Water Commissioaers replacing Leonard W. Levine; nov, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That resolution, C. F. No. 2�+q33�:, approved June 16, 1970, be hereby
supereeded a�d that Robert F. Spra,fka be naa�ed author.ized xepresentative and authorized and
directed to ftiarnish such information-as the Department af '�out�in�"' and uUrban Development
may reasonably request in connection �rith the sub�ect grant,

FURT�R RESOLYED, That the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certified
copy of this resolution to be mailed to the Department of Housing and Urban D"evelopment
to be made part of their official files.

WHEREAS, Effective December 7, 1970, Robert F. Sprafka became President of the
Boaxd of Water Commissioners replacing Leonaxd W. Levine; now, therefore, be it
' RESOLVED, That resolution, C. F. No. 21+9331., approved June 16, 1970, be hereby
super�eded and that Robert F. Sprafka be named authorized representative and authorized and
-directed to furnish such information-as-the Department of Housing and�Urban Development
may reasonably request in connection with the sub�ect grant,
