Avenue, City Froject No. 70-5-1428, Robert `i. Moore Company, Contractor, the
specified date of co�epletion is October 31, 1970, and
{�iHFREAS, The Contractor has proseeuted the work diligently but due to
reasonr beyond the Contractor�s control it was not possible to co�plete the
contract by said date of completion, ther�fore be it
RESOLVBD, That the proper City Officials be and they �re hereby authorized
and dir�cted to execute an aaendm�nt to ssid contract extending the time of co�-
�� pletion to November 17, 197U, provided however, that this resolution shall have
� ' no force or effect u�less the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto
� and file such consent in writing with the City Co�ptroller, and be it
FURTHER RBSOLV�* That the City of Saint �sul hereby waives all claim for
liquidated da�ages and that no engineering 8nd insp�ction costs on this project
will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
