In the Matter of �ondemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills, including ri$ht of removal of lateral support from subject land or
remainder ;thereaf, occasioned by excavations thereof or conatruction of slopes in
the �rading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Blocks 2 and 8,
Prospect Plateau, from Ada to Anita, to a width of 16 feet, �
under Preliminary Order-- 2S�914 approved cktob _r 2�, 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary �or the slopes, cuts and
fills, including right of removal of lateral support fram subjECt land or remainder
thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading
and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Blocks 2 and 8, Prospect Plateau,
from Ada to Anita, to a width of 16 feet, in accordance with the blueprint hereto attached
and made a part hereof, the hatched portions showing the cuts and the shaded portions show-
ing the fills,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 80,00
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 3rd day of
February, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.1VI., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Char+�er, stating the time and place of
hearing, 'the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
