WHEREAS, PAUL F. DESCH was appointed as Deputy Commissioner of
Finance, per Section 188 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, as
approved by Council Resolution 249247, adopted June 9, 1970, and con-
tinued per Council Resolution 250426, adopted September 14, 1970; and
WHEREAS, said appointment, as approved, expired on December 31, 1970;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the appointment of PAUL F. DESCH
be continued as Deputy Commissioner of Finance, as originally approved,
at no additional compensation, to serve indefinitely at the discretion of
the Commissioner of Fin�ce, and shall retain his Civil Service position
as Supervisor of Assessments.
