Contract Committee in the award of a contract for furnishing a11 labor, material,
equipment and services necessary or incidental to the WIDffi+IING AND RBSURFACING OF
LAFAYETTB ROAD from Seventh Street to Ninth Street (City Project No. 71-P-0347B)
for the Department of Yublic Worka to ASHBACH tANSTRUCTION CO3 for the contract
price of $78,SS8.25 (Plus - Val. & Assmt. $erv. �458.00; Bngineering and Inspection
14� $10,998.15; Water Dept. Gharges $2,035.00; Collection Charges $57.00) as a
result of Formal Bid �'4654 and the specifications incorporated therein. Ashbach
Construction Co. b�ing the lowest responsible bidder under the specificatians and
the Corporatiun Counsel is hereby directed to draft the proper form of contract
and obtain the necessary performance and payment bonds. The proper City officials
are hereby suthorized to execute ssid contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
