OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OUNCIL R LUTION—GENERAL FORM COMM SS ONE ��eredi th DATF JU��/ � , 1971 WHEREAS, the Corr�nnissioner of Public Safety and the Bureau of Health have submitted investigation and inspection reports pertaining to the hereinafter described properties, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof; WHEREAS, the Council finds that the conditions described in the hereinafter described properties constitutes nuisance which threaten the public peace, health and safety; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 374 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul and Section 265.52 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, 24 hours' notice has been given to the owner, occupant, or agent of each of such properties demanding the abatement and removal of such nuisances; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That upon the recommendation of the Comnissioner of Public Safety, the Comnissioner of Public Works is he reby directed to summarily and forthwith remove the said nuisances from the following described properties: 1 . Vacant lot: 1650-1660 Rice Street - Lots 21 , 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29, Block 1 , Merrill 's Division Rice Villa Generally remove. `all obvious rubbish over the entire area and level off, e�pecially where large-scale dumping has been in progress. Where practicable, cover over some materials where needed with "clean �ill" if difficult to remove. Specific areas of gross dumping are: the west edge of subject center of area.
