In the matter of the assessment of/ improving FAIRVIEW AVENUE from Marshall Avenue to
Iglehart Avenue and FAIRVIEW AVENUE from a point approxima.tely 74 feet northerly of
the north line of Shields Avenue to University Avenue by widening, grading, paving
and curbing; by constructing street, alley and driveway returns; by constructing and
reconstructing sidewalks; byoonstructing storm water drainage facilities; by con-
structing sewer, water and gas service connections; by constructing an ornamental
lighting system; by constru�ting a traffic control system; and by doing all other work
which is necessary and incidental to complete said improve�nt, �

The assessment af benefits�Cost and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitte�d to the Council, and the Council having considered saxne
and found the said assesament satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, Thst the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had an said assessment on the 4th
day of �tgust, 1971 , , at the hour of 10 dcicek A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; tha.t the Gommissioner of Finance
give natice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time a.nd place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, and the amount assessed against the lot or lots of the particular
owner to whom the notice is directed.
