RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Coun.cil for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city oflicials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of sa,id improvement in accordance therewith.

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Worka, having had under conaideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File No. 253824 approved
April 29th. 19 71 relative to reconstructins the sidewalk on the west
side of Mt Curve $lvd from Hartford Ave to Randoluh Ave and bv doinrz all other
work wh?ch ?s nececsary and incidental to comAlete said imnrovement
and having investigated the matters aad things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft, for standard sidewalk
5 ft, wide and $5.30 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk b ft. wide.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvemeat is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
