1 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul ("Cit}�'), as part of its public improvement project to reconstruct
2 the Earl Street Bridge (TMS File No. AE2001-02, Final Order No. 02-174, approved by the Saint Paul
3 City Council February 27, 2002) is in need of permanent and temporary easements for said project; and

5 WHEREAS, 7udy Williamson, a property owner affected by said bridge project, has granted the
6 Ciry a temporary easement (attached as Exhibit "A") so that the City may acquire the easement rights
7 necessary for the construcuon of said project; and
9 WHEREAS, the Valuation & Assessments Engineer has recommended the purchase of said
10 easement far Two Thousand Four Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($2,400.00), this being a fair and
11 reasonable value as determined by an appraisal; now, therefore be it

13 RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts said easement and directs and authorizes the
14 proper City officials to pay $2,400.00 to The New Viaduct Inn. Inc., said sum to be charged to Activity
15 Code: CPL-0O2-2S215; and be it finally
16
17 RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are authorized to file said agreement with Ramsey
18 County.

municipal corporauon under the laws of the State of Minnesota, its successors and assigns, Grantee, for the cash
consideration of Two Thousand Four Hundred Dollazs & noJ100 ($2,400.00) and other good and valuable
consideration, to the Grantor it in hand paid and the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant,
bazgain, sell and convey unto Grantee a temporary easement over, under and across ffie real proper[y described as:
Ex W 20 ft of N 9.75 ft the N 60 ft of W 35 ft of Lot 10. Also, E 15 ft of sd Lot 10. Also, ex W 20 8 as
measured on S line; Lot 3 Bllc 14, Terry's Addition to the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsey, S[ate of Minn.
The easement boundaries and area (approximately 1,530 square feet) are shown on the attached map
(E�ibit "A"), said map being on file with the City of Saint Paul, Depaztment of Public Works.
It is further understood and agreed that the Grantor, for the above consideration, does hereby convey to the
Grantee the above described easement for ceRain purposes including but not limited to en[ry, operation, sloping,
grading and the cleadng and storage of ma[erials in conjuncfion with and during the cons[mcuon of the Earl Street
Bridge Replacement Project.
This easement shall expire on the 31" day of Mav , 2005 .
