WHEREAS, The Housing and Redevelopment A�a.thority has requested
permission to construct a public sewer within the public alley of
Block 9, Butterfield Syndicate Addition No. 1, Ramsey County, and
on an easement along the Westerly 20 feet of the South 1/2 of Block
9, Butterfield Syndicate Addition No. l, Ramsey County, said public
sewer to serve all of the South 1/2 of Block 9, Butterfield
Syndicate Addition No. 1; and
WHEREAS, The construction of the public sewer as soon as pos-
_ ;_y sible is a matter of extreme urgency and necessity to said Housing
�7'-' and Redevelopment A�athority; and
WHEREAS, An Ordinance, C. F. No. , granting permis-
sion to said Housing and Redevelopment - ut ority to proceed with
the construction of said public sewer ha.s been prepa.red and intro-
duced to the Council of the City of Saint Paul on February ��,
1971, and ha.s been read before said Council with eventua.l a�option
set to occur on February 24 , 1971; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED� That in view of the extreme urgency of the request,
the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed
to issue permits to Housing and Redevelopment Azithority for the
construction of a public sewer in the public alley of Block 9,
Butterfield Syndicate Addition No. 1, and on an easement along the
Easterly 20 feet of the South 1/2 of Block 9, Butterfieid Syndicate
Addition No. l, said public sewer to serve all of the S�uth 1/2 of
Block 9, Butterfield Sy'ndicate Addition No. l, subject to the same
conditions and requirements as set out in the Ordinance, C. F.
2 2 40 , pending before the Council of the City of Saint
Pau , in orm�.� approval of said construction being hereby given in
anticipation of the final adoption of said 0-rdi nce.
