The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finanee
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommenda is

Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said impro�ement on the lith day of

House and City Hall Building in the City of St. PauI. That the Commissioner of Finance give no�ice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Chaxter, stating the time and place of
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of St< Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File No. 251549 approved
Dec. 16th. 19 70 relative to constructing new sidewalk on the south
side of W. Idaho Ave. from Avan St. tc� Fisk St. and by doing all other work
which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft, for standard si.dewalk
5 ft, wide and $5.30 per lino fto for standard sidewalk 6 ft. wide.
2. A glan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof<
