WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon
the recommendation of the Committee on Lands and letter of
the Commissioner of Public Safety, by its Resolutions, Council
File Nos. 251343 and 251345, approved December l, 1970, directed
the sale of Fire Station No. 3 and Fire Station No. 24; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent reports that auction sale
of the two fire stations owned by the City of Saint Paul was duly
held at 2:00 o'clock P.M. on�'hu=sc�ay, January 28, 197Z; and
WHEREAS, the high bidder for Fire Station No. 3 was Kraus-
Anderson of St. Paul Co. , which bid was in the amount of $22,100.00,
and the successful bidder for Fire 5tation No. 24 was Gregory W.
Tacheny, which bid was in the amount of $37,000.00, both high bid
prices being more than the appraised valuation set for the respective
properties by the Valuation Bureau of the City of Saint Paulj now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby concur in the recommendation of the Committee on Lands and
does hereby direct the sale of Fire Station No. 3 �-1.egally descri'bed
as:
�ast seventy-five (E. 75) feet of Lot one (1) ,
' Block two (2) , Leach' s Addition to Saint Paul;

� to Kraus-Anderson of St. Paul Co., for the sum of $22,104.00, and upon
receipt of the total purchase price, the proper City officers are.

does hereby concur in the recon�aendation of the Committee on Lands

described as:
Lots fourteen (14) and fifteen (15) , Block one (1) ,
Kuhl' s 2nd Addition to St. Paul;
to Gregory W. Tacheny, for the sum of $37,000.00, and upon receipt
of the total purchase price, the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Saint
Paul, quit claim deed conveying the City' s title to Fire Station
No. 24 to Gregory W. Tacheny.

Fire Station �f3 - The high bidder was Kraus-Anderson of St. Paul 'y��•
C�pa�ry�, 190 Ramsey St. , St. Paul, Diinnesota 55102 for a total price
of $22,100.00. This company paid $1,000.00 on the date of bid opening
and they paid the balance of $21,100.00 on 2/1/71�
Fire Station #2� - The high bidder was Gregory W. Tacheny, 1693 Reaney St. ,
St. Paul, Minnesota 55106. Sa1e price $37,000.00, with $1,000,00 on day
of sale and balance to be paid within 30 days of c3ate of sale,
