1 WIIEREAS, the City of Saint Paul wishes to encourage businesses to locate in this city; and
2 WHEREA5, Mairs and Power was started in the City of Saint Paul in 1931; and
3 WI�REAS, George Mairs joined the business in1952; and
4 WI3EREAS, the business is located at W1520 1�` Bank Building in the City of Saint Paul and has been located in
5 Saint Paul since it was established; and
6 WHEREAS, the business has grown and prospered and manages over $1.6 Billion in assets.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council congratulates George Mairs of the
8 firm of Mairs and Power on his SOth Aiuiiversary on September 19, 20Q2 and wishes George and his firm many
9 more successful years doing business in the Ciry of Saint Paul.
