W�REAS, The City of Saint Pa.ul has entered into a contract
with the United States of America, Department of Housing and Urban
Develo�pment (as per C. F. No. 2�+6782, adopted December 23, 1969,)
for an Open Space Land Grant to assist in the acquisition of the
Loeb Lake Park site; and
� �'AS, due to increased acqui.sition costs, it became necessary
to request an additional grant fram the Departm�ent of Housing and
Urban Development (as per C. F. No. 250t+29, adapted September 11,
� 1970); and
WF�RF,AS, the Depaxtment of Housing and Urban Developrnent has
approv+ed an increased grant in the am�ount of $65,42�+.00;
Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers be a.nd they axe hereby
authorized to execute an Am�endatory Contra,ct for the Loeb I,ake Paxk
acquisition (Project No. Minn. OSA-81(DL) on behal.f of the City of
Saint Pa.ul with the United States of America, Department of Housing
