In the Matter of reconatrcicting tk�e sideWalk on the north side of Bast Page 3treet
fron Woodbnry Street to Br�vn Avenue abutting Lot 3 and part of Lcit 4, Block 41, Brown
and Jackaon's Addition, property known as 301 Esst Page 3treet and by doing all other
work which is necessary and inciddntal t0 complete said improvenent,
under Preliminary Order 255134 approved August �., 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement-
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to r�conatruct the sidewalk on the north side of East Page 3treet frem Woodbury
Street to Brown Avenue abutting Lot 3 and part of Lot 4, Block 41, Brown and Jackson's
Addi�ion, property known as 301 East Page Street and by doing all other work which
is neceseary and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and
sufficient poured sid�walks nc�w exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for S' Wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the l�+th day of
September, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
