WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey has requested that the Boazd dedicate the following described 30-foot
wide drainage easement across the Property ("EasemenP'):
A 30 foot wide drainage easement over that part of Government Lot 4, Section 31, Townskup 30
North, Range 22 West, Ramsey County, Minnesota lying between Vadnais Boulevard and Owasso
Boulevard North, the centerline of which is described as follows:
Commencing at the center of said Section 31; thence along the east and west
quarter line of said Section 31, having a bearing of North 89 degrees 34 minutes
52 seconds East, for a distance of 1507.71 feet to the point of beginning; thence
North 52 degrees 10 minutes 44 seconds East for 400 feet and there terminating.
WHEREAS, staff did draft the attached Dedication of Easement which dedicates said Easement to the County
of Ramsey and the assistant city attorney has approved said Dedication of Easement as to form; and
WHEREAS, the Boazd did adopt Resolution No. 4846 approving said Dedication of Easement and did
request that the Saint Paul Ciry Council adopt a resolution approving said Dedication of Easement and
authorizing the proper officers of the City of Saint Paul to execute said Dedication of Easement on behalf of
the City; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Honorable Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the attached
Dedication of Easement to the County of Ramsey, and that the proper officers are hereby authorized to
execute said Dedication of Easement on behalf of the City.

DEDICATION OF EASEMENT
FOR DRAiNAGE PURPOSES
The Citv of Saint Paul, a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, Grantor, for good and
, valuablz consideration, to them in hand paid and the receipt of which is hereby acknowiedged,
do hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey to the Countv of Ramsey, a political subdivision of
the State of Minnesota, its successors, and assigns, as Grantee, a perpetual and permanent
easement for drainage purposes over, under and across a 30.00 foot wide tract of land across the
real property described on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Said easement being described and shown on Exhibit ` attached hereto and incorporated
herein.
Grantors convey this easement to Grantee to have and to hold the same forever. It is intended
and that this dedication shall be a covenant running with the land and shall be binding to the
fullest extent of the law and equity for the benefit of the public. It is further intended and agreed
that this dedication and covenant shall remain in effect without limitation as to time.
