WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, by Resolution,
Council File No. 239455, approved July 16, 1968, did, among other
things, vacate and discontinue as a public alley described as follows:
The westerly 18 feet of Lot 3, Block ll, City of St. Paul,
together with the westerly 18 feet of the northerly 50.21
feet of Lot 14, Block 11, City of Saint Paul Proper, and
the southerly 10 feet of the northerly 60.21 feet of said
Lot 14;
said vacation being subject to the terms and conditions of Section
228 of the Legislative Code, a� amended, and subject to a �pecific
resErvation of easement in said publiG alley to' protEC� �h� interests
of Northwes��rn Be11. Telephon� Compa�; and :.;

WHEREAS, the Ho�sirig and� Red�veY�pmren� Authority of� �r�-������;�M
Saint Paul, Minnesota� has requested that the Council waive said ��a��� ��` �
D � easements, general and specific, and the affected City Departments,
N � Northern States Power Company, and Northwestern Bell Telephone Company,
� have filed written Certificates of Intended Non-Use of reserved rights
o � and easements, which Certificates are attached hereto, now therefore

o m RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant
� p to Section 228.05 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, as amended,
o does hereby waive the retained easements contained in Resolution,

together with the westerly 18 feet of the northerly 50.21
feet of Lot 14, Block 11, City of Saint Paul Proper, and
the southerly 10 feet of the northerly 60.21 feet of said
Lot 14;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the above mentioned waiver of said ease-
ments is for the City of Saint Paul and for those persons for whom
the City has reserved easements in said vacated property for the
installation, maintenance and operation of any sewer, water, gas or
electrical main, pipe or conduit of public instrumentality.
