'�� ' OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK CIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE ATF WHEREAS, aws of Minnesota for 1971 , Extra Session, Chapter 31, authorizes the City of Saint Paul to reduce its tax levy against real and personal property in the City of Saint Paul for the purpose of financing city government ; and WHEREAS, the 1972 Budget adopted by the City Couneil by its Resolution, Council File No. 256147, approved Uctober 26, � 1971� as report0d. by the Comptroller, must be amended to reduce the proposed tax levy and modify the miseellaneous revenue con- tained in the financing summary and analysis of tax levy contained the re in; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 203.3 of the City Gharter, the Gomptro ller did report to the Counc il that additional revenues are estimated to be received in 1972 in excess of estimates of revenues adopted with the 19'72 Budget in the estimated additional amount of �1, 500,000.00, said funds to be received as a result of said Laws of Minnesota for 1971, Extra �ession, Chap ter 31; and WHEREAS, the Council finds that additional appropriations are needed for various activities, including � but not limited to, salary and wage adjustments of city employees and expenses necessary and incidental to the reorganization of city govern- ment under the new Charter, Now, Therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the appropriation in the 1972 Budget entitled Charter Fund 35 - General Fund Miscellaneous, Aecount 0998, Gontingent Reserve , in the amount of �857,097.00, be in- creased by the amount of �1,500,000.00, so as to read �2, 357,097.00; be it FOR APPROVED: �'��,p��-�� %�� L��;� �lis�t.
