MHEREAS, lt has bmer� deterrai�ed that a revisian of the Special Pro-
visions is necessary to better defin� the work to be don� and t� insure a
m�re uniform �r�cedure for pr�parati�n •f bids; now th�refore, upon the
r�c�endation of th� C�issioner of Public Werks, be it
RESOLVED, That the specificatimns for the above named impr�veaAes�t,
as a'proved �y thg Council , are hereby amended with Addendua� No. 1 , which
is attached t• and made a part ef the above mentianed csntract, and that
further, all interested parties be notified of this addendum.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL REVISIONS
EAST AND WEST SEVENTH STREETS
1971-T-1020-B
Revise Special Provision C-26. The first paragraph shall read:
The Contractor shall remove al ) signal heads, signal cabie and the
fluted signal poles as shcjwn on the plan. The Contractar shall also re-
move the light poles on the northwest corner of Minnehaha Ave. and Men-
dota St. and on the southeast corner of Minnehaha Ave. and Mendota St.
The Contractor shall furnish and install all signal heads, signal cable,
signal poles and mast arm poles as shown on pian S-684. The cverhead
signal shall be supported by a 15 ft. mast arm on the northwest corner
of the intersection of Minnehaha Ave. and Mendota St. and a 25 ft. mast
arm pole on the southeast corner of Mendota St. and Minnehaha Ave. Sig-
nals r►aunted on the shaft of these mast arm poles shall be installed at
90° and 270° from the direction of the arm. The mounting of the signal
indications on the end of the mast arms shall be as follows: The signal
indications on the far end of the pole with the indicativns for Minnehaha
Ave. and Mendota St. shall be elevated with a two-way device according
to Minnesota Highway Department Standard Plate No. 81246� and the signal
Indications for E. Seventh St. shall be mounted three feet from the end
of the mast arm� with a connection to the mast arm supp�rt, as shmwn on
plan S-35.
