THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DO�S ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3250, approved August 20, 1914, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out Section 35 E 11 which reads as follows: "The provisions of this Section 35 E shall not apply to any employee paid under Section 8 G of these Rules, or to any employee whose position is in the Special Employment section of the Ungraded Divi- sion (Section 7�, and who is paid by the hour or by the performance. " and by substituting in lieu thereof the following: t'The provisions of this Section 35 E shall not apply to any employee whose pQSition is in the Special Employment section of the Ungraded Division (Section 7�, and who is paid by the hour or by the performance. " .�?. Section 2. That said ordinance, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out Section 39 H (d� which reads as follows: "In case of reinstatement after leave of absence granted under subsection C of Section 35, except as otherwise provided in said subsection. ". Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty days after its passage, approval, and publication. This is being removed because there is no longer a Section 8G in the Civil Service Rules. That section was removed several years ago, and referred to emergency and temporary employees and how they were to be paid. This is covered in other sections of the rules. Section 2 of attached ordinance strikes out a section on leave of absence because the reinstatement rights of Exempt employees was changed by this ' Council earlier this year, making this section obsolete.
