Further, a copy has been submitted to the Office of the City Clerk for direct presentation to the City Council at the public hearing to be held on June 27, 1972. At this point in the proceedings, all pertinent construction information may be had by the Public Works Department, or by calling 223-4139. Very truly yours, Robert W. We have lived with the nresent sidewalk for the past 35 years and since lzs. Heckert is now 80 years of age, and her na.in source of income haa been reduced to social security income since the death of her husband ! years ago, and with her few remaining years, a new sidewali{ and the additional expense is one thin she can do very well without. She just paid your department a $40.00 assessment for a storm sewer nearly a half mile from her home, simply because, as stated in your departmental letter, it would be of advantage to all eoples in the Frankson addition. If this be the case, I think then the expense of the sidewalk should also be assessed to all peoples living in the Frankson tddition, as it would be to their advantage also as z•rell as to one person, If your sidewalk plan is pushed through, I sugest that you also include the propert just South of 11,.84 No. Fascal, and from there on down to the corner of Ic Kinley St., and rlington, if the job is to be done correctly, as putting in ide*alk in front of only 3 lots that leaves the walk leading no-where, so the few who do walk on it cn walk in the street after they pass ]la. IJo Pascal. This is certamnly a stupid piece of planning, and no doubt silly of ine to even send this letter of protest. In conclusion, I assure we are certainly not in favor of this reconatruction of the sidewalk along with the peopies living on lots 17 and 18. Sincerely, - ` t+ZZ .
