under Preliminary Order 2 approved F May 10, 1972
The Council of the City of St. Paul ha ing received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having c nsidered said repo$�t, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id re rt and the same i hereb a �
po y pproved �nd adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvemen which the Councill recommends is
to condemn and take an aasement in th land necessary� for the slopes cuts and fills,
including right of removal of lateral support from s�bject land or remainder thereof,
occasioned by excavations thereof, or construction ofi slopes azthe grading and sur-
facing with bituminous material the a ley in Block 16!, Sylvan aark Addition to the City
of Saint paul and Fooshe Addition fro Randolph Avenuie to Palace Avenue (G-2008), in
accordance with the blueprint hereto ttached and madMe a part hereof, the hatched portions
showing the cuts and the shaded porti ns showing the !fills,

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $�00.00

Resolved Further, That a public hearing had on said imp;ovement on the iSth day of
July, .1972 , at the hou of 10 o'elock A.M,, in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of t. Paul. That the C�ommissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the ma er provided by the;Charter, sta.ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost ther@of as estimated.
