1 WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Division of Parks and
2 license for the City's Harriet Island Regional Park; and
3 WHEREAS, Section 19, Chapter 554, Minnesota
4 1988, Chapter 654.021 allows the Division of Parks and
5 sell wine and 3.2 beer at events sponsored by the Divisi

6 WHEREAS, the City is entering into an agree�t with Rheinfest Inc. allowing them to be the
7 exclusive vendor of beer and soft drinks at the Rheinf st on the Mississippi to be heid at Harriet
8 Isiand on September 7& 8, 2002, as a component the Fiilmore Picnic in the Park.
9 NOW THEREFORE BE IT F2ESOLVED,

Rheinfest inc. may use the Division of Parks and
the Mississippi under the following terms and
1. Sales shall occur only betweer�the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m on September 7,
2002 and between noon and)(0 p.m. on September 8, 2002.
2. That prudent care will be taf(cen to insure that all sales are made to persons age 21 and
over /

or appear to be intoxi ated.
That Rheinfest Inc shali, at all times, comply with all State of IUinnesota and City of
Saint Paul ordina ces, laws, and statutes pertaining to the sale of 3.2 malt.

6. That Rheinfest Inc. shail provide liquor liability insuranc,,e in the amount of One Million
Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for the dates of the events. A certificate of insurance naming
the City of Saint Paul as an additional insured sha� be provided to the Division of Parks
and Recreation prior to any sale of 3.2 malt. �

Rheinfest Inc. needs to use the Division of Parks and Recreation's Beer and Wine Licenses for Harriet Island Park.
