2 WHEREAS, Chapter 377, Article 3, Section 21, Subd. 2, Laws of Minnesota 2002, entitled "Appointment
3 ofMembers" amended Chapter 389, Article 8, Section 37, Subdivision 2, Laws of 1998, whichhadbeen previously
4 adopted by the Council ofthe City of St. Paul in its Resolution ofApproval, Councii File No. 98-1145, in compliance
5 with Minn. Stat. § 645.021, subd. 3;
6 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of St. Paul that Chapter 377, Article 3, Section
7 21, Subd. 2, Laws of Minnesota 2002 entitled "Appointment of Members" is in a11 things adopted herein by reference
8 and approved;
9 AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk, as the chief clerical officer ofthe City of St. Paul,
10 shall forthwith file with the Secretary of State, in a form prescribed by the Attorney General, a certificate stating the
11 essenfial facts necessary to the adoption and approval of said law in compliance with Minn. Stat. § 645.021, subd.
