1 WF3EREAS, the City of Saint Paul, acting through its Valuation & Assessments Engineer, has
2 secured an agreement for the purchase of real property, said property being described as:
3 That part lying Easterly of Earl Street and Northerly of that part of Lot S Trillium Add that Zies
4 South of the Southwesterly line of Block 76 of Dawson's Earl St Add in Section 28, Township 29,
5 Range 22, St. Paul, Ramsey Counry, Minnesota; and

WHEREAS the acquisition of said property described is necessary for the reconstruction of the Eazl
Sueet Bridge; and

WHEREAS, on February 27, 2002 the Saint Paul City Council approved Final Order No. 02-174
authorizing the acquisition of said property; and
WHEREAS, the purchase price of said property is One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), this being a
fair and reasonable amount based on the appraised vatue of said property; and
WHEREAS, the Valuation � Assessments Engineer has recommended the purchase of said property
17 at the appraised value; and

19 WHEREAS, the Trillium Corporation has prepared a deed to convey said properiy to the City of
20 Saint Paul for said purchase price; now, therefore be it

22 RESOL'VED, that the proper City officials aze hereby authorized and directed to accept and file said
23 deed and pay the Trillium Corporation the sum of $1,000.00 for the purchase of said property, said sum
24 to be charged to Activity Code: CPL COl-2D017-0788-00000.

On February 27, 2002, the City Council approved the final order for acquisition of this property, which is
needed for the Earl Street Bridge Reconstruction project on the East Side of Saint Paul. This resolution
authorizes the City to accept a deed for a 1,400 sq ft pazcel of surplus land owned by the Trillium
Co oration and located to the east of and ad'acent to the brid e ri t of wa .
