WHEREASt The Council of the City of Saint Paul� by its
Resolution� C. F. 257519, approved Febru.a.ry 25; 1972� approved an
application to the State of Minnesota Governor s Commission on
Crime Prevention and Control for the project entitled St. Paul
Drug Rehabilitation Center, Inc. , and whereby the City would act
as sponsor for the project to be operated by the newly-formed-
corporation entitled St. Paul Drug Reha.bilitation Center, Inc. ;
and
WHEREAS, The said Governor' s Crime Commission, on Februa.ry
28� 1972, notified the City tha.t its application had been approved
in the amount of $133,373.00 for a grant period of 16 months
commencing March l, 1972 through June 30, 1973; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby approve the above-referenced Grant Agreement between the
C�,ty and the Governor' s Commission on Crime Prevention and Control�
and the Mayor� City Clerk and Comptroller are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City; and
be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul
does hereby approve the entering into of a third-party Op�rating
Agreement between the City and the St. Paul Drug Rehabilitation
Center, Inc. , whereby the City, on behalf of the Governor's Crime
Commission, will provide the funds and the St. Paul Drug Reha.bil-
itation Center, Inc. , will operate the project in accordance with
the terms and conditions set forth in the Grant Agreement, and the
Ma.yor, City Clerk and Comptroller are hereby authorized to execute
the said Third Party Agreement on beha.lf of the City.
