OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE ` , COUNCI R LUTIO —GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COKAMISSIONE • ATF WI3EREAS, the Como Park Zoo has negotiated the sale of a camel calf to the Calgary Zoo in Galgarq, Albert�, Canada, for ' the total purchase price of $1,300.,00; and WHEREAS, no means of transportation are available from animal dealers withont incurring excessive costs; and WHEREAS, the Cal gary Zoo has an immediate need for the camel calf; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, tha.t Ja�es Kemp and John McKenna, both zoo employees, are hereby suthorized to transport the camel calf to the Calgary Zoo beginning on I�ay 30, 1972 and returning no l�ter than June 5, 1972. They are further suthorized to draw expense money in the amo�nt of $300.40 from account 3750-204 and, be it FIIRTHE� RESOL�ED, that the Superintendent of Parks is suthorized and directed to secure a citp vehicle and the leasing of a horse trailer for the transportation of the camel calf. �:� Further, he sha.11 obtain a proper insurance policy to be in force d�ring the round-trip of Kemp and McRenna. Additionally, the Superintendeat of Parks is herebq directed to maintain a complete record of all travel expenses, trailer rental fees, mileage and in�uraance costs and submit the complete list thereof to W. E.
