The Council of the City of Saint Paul Does Ordain: Section 1 That section 32.01 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code be and is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 32.01. 5alaries fixed. (a) The sakaries annual sal of the mayor ' shall be as €ei�ews- , ......................... $60,000, . ... (b) Effective January 1, 1987, and on each January 1 thereafter, the salary of the mayor shall be increased by the same percentage as the percentage increase approved for the City of Saint Paul's Supervisory Employees Organization far the yeaz following that January 1. (cl Effective January 1, 2004, and on each January 1 thereafter. the annual salarv of each member of the city council shall be equal to fifty-nercent of the annual salarv of the ma o�as � increased � suant to nart (bl above. ��� NIIleTNESOTA (ej-� Effective the first business day of January in 1994, the mayor and council shall � 1� � receive the same fringe benefits, which they are enfitled to receive, as those same fringe benefits aze received by the nonrepresented city employees. Fringe benefits granted under this provision shall not include personal leave, vacation, short-term disability, deferred compensation plans nor teru�inarion pay. The amount that the city shall pay for those eligible fringe benefits received by b�„'1 the mayor and council shall be equal to the direct and indirect city contributions for the same fringe benefits received by nonrepresented city employees.
